I know he was suffering for a long time and I’m glad he’s not suffering any more. And I know you and Adler both did your best to keep him safe and comfortable at home as long as possible. It’s going to take a while to accept that he’s really gone. He was a kind and gentle soul that was very modest about his many accomplishments. The older I get the more I appreciate the courage needed to take on being a step-parent to four young boys.

I don’t have that many photos of us but I always liked this one.
